The Congregation of the Hollow Star

Sessions: 5 (letter), 9 (met) — both times Percival alone, away from the table

Current Status (as of session 9): Active, and Percival's alone. They reached him through an accomplice in session 5 and met him at the abandoned chapel in the Low Lanterns in session 9. Their stated aim is to help him be freed — from his deity, from this life, from the responsibility for his city, with no indication which. He was given no answers and one object: a vial that collects card dust. The party knows none of it; both approaches happened while Percival was away from the table, and both times he left a note saying only that he was attending to business.

Overview

An organisation operating out of Lantern's Row, met only through a single unnamed woman at the abandoned chapel in the Low Lanterns. They approached Percival, not the other way round, and they reached him through his own trade network rather than in the open.

The name is all that is recorded of the group itself. Whether "the Hollow Star" is a symbol, a place, a person, or a doctrine is unrecorded, as is any connection to the deities and their magic colours, to the cards, or to the sickness.

Known Members

The lady — Unnamed and undescribed. The only member Percival has met. Whether she leads the group or speaks for someone above her is unrecorded. The letter's "meet us" implies more of them.

The accomplice (session 5) — Handed Percival the envelope in Lantern's Row. One of his own contacts in the shipping work, unnamed. Whether they are a member, were paid, or were simply used as a channel is unrecorded.
