Naaru — The Silent Woods

Where the roads out of Ayrith run out, they run out into Naaru.

The forest seems endless, stretching farther than any map can properly describe: deep nature, strange magic, countless mysteries. The Zephyrians believe the woods have a mind of their own — or at least something resembling one.

It does not behave as the rest of the world does

A ruined house might stand abandoned for centuries, only to appear perfectly intact the next morning. A path may lead somewhere completely different from where it did the day before. Buildings, clearings, streams and even entire sections of the forest shift according to some unseen whim.

Nothing truly disappears in Naaru.

It simply changes.

The ruin

Deep within the woods stands an ancient ruin, overgrown with flowers and vines, slowly being reclaimed by the forest. Taara visited it often when she wanted to be alone.

Settlements

Mirel sits deep inside the forest. The people who live in Naaru are accustomed to its strangeness.
