The New Reading
After the naming, the three returned to the fire. All three sat, which triggered the full terms of the offer: a personal reading each, and the land's cards laid again — the spread that supersedes session 4.

Every result of the session 4 spread moved. The Sunsword is not in the castle chapel; the Tome is not in the Abbey's garden scarecrow; the Holy Symbol is not in the Vistani treasure wagon. All three treasures now lie outside Castle Ravenloft, and the only card that points inside the castle is Strahd's own — the study, the room where Logi signed the blood contract in session 23.
Two of the five point at the same place: the werewolf den holds both the Holy Symbol and the ally.
Where session 4 gave the Darklord — "you must face the evil of this land alone" — this spread names a person. Zuleika Toranescu is a werewolf, mate of the imprisoned Emil, and the party has a werewolf of its own who was not at the fire to hear it.
