Logi

Strahd told him in the library that the fire he came back with is the Ashenwood titan's own flame, taken rather than extinguished — and that where that fire burns, his hand can reach.

Logi — Appearance

Logi is an elf with tan skin and long black hair marked by a white forelock streak at the left temple. Part of his hair is worn in a long braid at the side, threaded with green beads and ending in a red-brown feather ornament; green stud earrings line one pointed ear. His eyes are bright green. Old pale scars cross his upper arms, and his build is lean and capable — someone who lives outdoors and climbs things.

He dresses forest-plain: a sleeveless leaf-green wrap tunic edged in black, brown leather straps across the chest and waist, a white fur trim at the hip, black loose trousers, cloth arm-wraps, leg bindings, and open sandals. A simple corded necklace with a wooden leaf sits at his throat. At rest he sits like the art shows him — draped along a branch, unhurried.

Current state (session 25): back inside Castle Ravenloft, at level 5. The green in his clothing is red — the Ashenwood Circle's mark, worn since they returned his cloak at the end of the fight. He carries the Bloodspear, crimson-runed. He runs hot permanently and water does not cool him; anyone standing close notices. Fire answers him in two colours, blue in one hand and orange in the other, and no water at all.

Cinder is back and matches the historical art below: a small frilled lizard, orange, red and black. During the Ashenwood fight he held the shape of a towering Dilophosaurus of sapphire flame and river water, crystalline fins in place of the frill; that form is gone and his rebuilt form is not yet decided.

With Cinder (historical)

From logi_and_cinder.png. Pre–session 22 canon. As of session 25 this art is current again for Cinder himself — the frilled lizard is back — though the wildfire it shows is not the fire Logi now carries.

Before the wish stripped his wildfire, Logi went nowhere without Cinder: a wildfire spirit in the shape of a black bearded dragon, char-scaled, with molten orange eyes and an open frill that burned like a lit leaf — swirling ember-patterns moving through the flame. In this art Logi wears a dark green hooded traveling cloak over his forest clothes, fire curling around his open hand. Cinder was never gone, only transformed; the knowledge to restore the wildfire is what Strahd's blood contract sold him.
